Several items come out of the washer dry in spots. service man came Saturday and replace control panel did a load - same problem. first washing machine I ever heard of that doesn't wash all of the clothes. I told the wife to call sear to send the piece of junk back.
NOTE: Be sure to unplug the washer to disconnect electrical power before accessing internal components.
There is a slight possibility that a problem with the pressure switch hose could be causing this problem.
A pinched or twisted air hose can cause this fault code.
When you open the console, check the air hose connected to the pressure switch on the machine control board.
If it is pinched or crimped, I recommend rerouting the hose to resolve this problem.
This may fix your problem without replacing the control board.
NOTE: You may want to check for this condition before ordering the control board. Most electronic control boards cannot be returned for a refund or credit.
If you find no apparent problems with the air hose on the pressure switch, then replacing the machine control board on this washer should correct your problem. There is a risk involved in replacing this part yourself.
As noted above, you could have a problem with the air pressure hose that is not apparent upon your initial inspection. A service technician would normally need to properly and thoroughly diagnose this problem before replacing the control board.

Hello, unfortunately this was a common problem with that machine , the seal and bearing in the washer tub is worn and the grease is leaking out of the bearing and seal and is getting on your clothes. This is not a cheap repair, in fact I would recommend at this point to purchase a new or even a used washer from a shop that gives you a decent warranty.
My front loading clothes washer wasn't draining properly, it wouldn't complete the cycle, and the clothes would come out still sopping wet.
We found that the problem was the filter located next to the water pump. It prevents large items from entering the water pump and causing severe damage to the pump.
To access the filter on my Whirlpool machine I had to remove the top panel, the front control panel, remove the door gasket from the front panel, and then remove the front panel. On some models all that is needed is to remove a panel on the bottom-front of the machine. (I wish mine was like that!)
This video I did on it might help you understand what to look for.
I imagine that a top loading clothes washer has a similar pre-filter.
The Whirlpool Ultimate Care II washing machine is atop-loading clothes washer. The washer has several cycles to choose from, including cycles for washing normal clothes, permanent press items, delicateand items marked "Hand Wash." To do its job, thewashing machine relies on an agitator, located in the center of the wash tub.The agitator rotates during the wash cycle, moving the clothes around the washtub so that they are cleaned equally. If the agitator is broken, it will notsufficiently agitate the clothes and must be replaced.
·1 Unplug the washing machine from the wall outlet or turn off the power supplyin your service panel.
· 2 Open thewashing machine lid and remove any clothes remaining inside.
· 3 Remove thefabric softener cup by squeezing the bottom lip of the cup and lifting itstraight off.
· 4 Pry theagitator cap off of the top of the agitator with a flat-head screwdriver.
· 5 Remove thebolt at the bottom of the agitator, using the socket wrench with extension, andthen remove the agitator from the washing machine. Tip the agitator to removethe bolt and washer.
· 6 Install thenew agitator onto the drive shaft.
· 7 Secure thenew agitator with the bolt that you originally removed.
· 8 Press theagitator cap and fabric softener cup back into position on top of the newagitator.
· 9 Restore powerto the washing machine to complete the repair.
If you are using a liquid fabric softener , then start using dryer sheets instead OR using less softener . Also be sure you are using the correct temp setting for softener " disolvement " . Re-washing the clothes should take out the spots . If you have dryed the clothes , may take several washes to remove the spots .
An occasional load that does not spin dry enough is nothing to be overly concerned about. The usual cause of this problem is due to a load that the washer was unable to balance and therefore it never entered the high speed spin cycle. There are a couple of things you can do to minimize this problem. If you are washing an item of clothing that is made of heavyweight fabric make sure you wash at least two of the same item or throw several towels in to act as a counterbalance. Also, make sure your washer is properly leveled by using a four foot level and checking from front to back and side to side. Using a level that is shorter than the length or width of the washer may not produce a true level.
Thanks for using FixYa. The error code UE means there are some heavy clothing is loaded. Rearrange items to help balance the load. If the imbalance is heavy, the washer will make several attempts to restart the spin cycle. If an imbalance is still detected, the washer will stop and will display the error code UE. In case, if the load is small then you need to add 2-5 clothes to balance the load. If the load is out of balance then you need to rearrange the clothes to balance it. Although the Washer has an imbalance detection and correction system but if still the problem persists then it means that it is due to control error and needs to replaced preferably by a qualified service technician.

This is a cronic problem of front loader machines. The two bearings that hold the wash drum are dried out and then they over heat. The heat build up weakens the seal that keeps water in and grease out starts to leak and the problem just becomes worse with every load. A service repair man will charge you the cost of a new machine to fix the unit. You can replace the bearings and seal with parts from a bearing supply store and if you do, only use bearings from Japan or Germany. Your machine came with ones from China and that is why these machines are failing after 4 years.
most likely the interface panel(all the buttons and do dads)..there is more to interface than just buttons there are several electronic items there too besides i did the same thing and had to go back to change controls
