Unfortunately, you can't without a serial number.
In the future, think of Reg/Serial numbers like a deed, money, or proof of ownership. Whenever you buy anything online or retail, print or retain a copy of the serial number and keep it in a folder.
I have been working with PCs long enough to know that in the long run, nothing beats a piece of paper for the most important record-keeping.
