The problem is it doesn't power up but the power light button flashes when pressing it or pressing the play button.
I checked the 2 fuses inside the Boom Box and they r good. There are no fuses inside the player though.
    Help please.
    Thanks,
    Hany

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: unit automatically switches off

Maybe all you need is to dust off the DVD player's pickup. I have had this happen several times with several players. After dusting the pickup, those players are still in service.

SOURCE: Denon AVR-1508

sounds like overload protection
turn the volume all the way down, then turn it on
if that doesn't do it you may have a short in one of the speaker lines - try disconnecting them one at a time

SOURCE: denon avr-2106 problem!!!

You're drawing too much power from it. Sounds like maybe your sub is hooked up wrong, double check that.

SOURCE: i have a denon AVR-2105

If your amp looks like it's going to work as normal (ie the front display lights up as it should etc), but then the amp goes into protection mode when the anti-thud circuit times out, then I know what's likely to be wrong.

It's one of the power amplifier channels which has gone faulty.

I just found this out after having this problem with my AVR-1906.

I took the amp apart and de-soldered the suspected channel power transistors (centre channel in my case).....and hey-presto! it fired up as normal (obviously the centre channel would be out of service).

I have ordered the replacement transistors from Farnell (UK) at a miserly cost of around £2-£3 each.

Just waiting for them to arrive.

An alternative is, if you don't use all your channels, take the transistors from a known working but not needed channel and swap them over with the duff ones.

Hope thats of use!

I have a Denon avr 2801. My standby light is flashing and i cant seem to reset it. I have tried pressing the a and b buttons together and then turning the power on, all the lights flash but thats it.

Hello
There is always a constant 5v for the device to go to standby.and power on when you press the power button .
This flashing is not to reset the device it shows that there is a problem with power supply.
the regulators are burned or over voltage ...
it needs service .
hope this helps
good luck

No power output or display.green standby light flashes.

Sounds like either a blown mainpower fuse or the thermal fuse for the power transformer. If the protect circuit was kicking in, the display would light up, but then turn off with a red blinking light. the green light with no display means the transformer is not getting power.

Standby light is on but will not power, just keeps flashing up power on then go back to standby.

Try disconnecting everything from the Denon including the power. Leave it off all night. Next morning plug in the power only and see if it will come up ok. Then power down (into standby), connect the other stuff and power on.
