There is no speaker if the Wii Fit balance board like there is in the Wii remotes if that is what you mean. If other games have some but Wii Fit doesn't then you may have gotten a bad Wii Fit game disc. Contact Nintendo technical support if that's the case.

This could be of two things wrong. Either a bad pulg or a bad system. To best troubleshoot this problem the cheapest and easies way to find out this problem is to first replace the cord that goes from the Wii to the television (AKA Video cable). You can get a new cable at any one of the web addresses that is at the bottomof this. If you still have no sound then I would contact Nintendo to find out what it would cost for them to repair the unit. I hope that repairing the unit is not the solution and all that is wrong is just a bad cable.

I have a wii fit board, when you power it up, it

Had the same problem. It's a sync problem.
First, best to double check you have fresh batteries.
Next, turn the board upside down and remove the cover from the battery compartment.
Open the small hatch cover on the front of your console unit.
Now start wii fit from the disk menu item.
Next, press the small red button inside the balance board battery compartment. The blue lights will blink for approx 3=5 sec.
While they are blinking, press the red button on the console (in the hatch compartment).
This should re-sync your board and the light stays lit.
Good luck.

Sounds like the CD may be in backwards.... Otherwise, there could be a significant problem with your console that needs assistance from www.nintendo.com.

Wii fit doesn't work

Make sure the program that your are running (ie: Wii Fit, etc) is completely loaded. Your balance board will NOT power up if the software is not running on your Wii.

Hi again

It sounds to me like there's something seriously wrong with your copy of Wii Fit. All the sound comes out of your system the same way, and I don't know of any way to make Wii Fit completely silent. I recommend that you contact Nintendo, I'm confident they can replace your copy for free. If you're looking for a quicker solution, you could bring it back to the shop you bought it at (assuming you still have your receipt) and they should replace it for you.

Wii Fit Board won't register with Wii Fit software

Nintendo had me set and reset the console and then the Wii fit board. They also had me take out the batteries from the Wii fit board, and repeat the reset. Apparently this works in many cases. IT didn't work for me, so now I'm bringing the unit in for repair. I am just a week past my 90 day warranty- they are charging me 47 bucks to fix it! What a sham! that's half the cost of what I paid for the darn thing!
