Question about Car Audio & Video Accessories
We have just purchased a car fitted with a "SONY CD" radio and single CD capacity (no further model details shown on either radio or the instruction book)
According to the instruction book supplied the radio clock display can be changed by scrolling through the menu and switching off the RDS function - but that option does not appear on the menu.
How do we switch off RDS so the clock can be reset manually?
On the Radio there should alpha neumeric print on the front of the head unit on one of the corners. It should be something like CDX-RA700 or something to that extent. If you could get me that informaiton I can help you a little more in detail and what it means as RDS

The RESET button is located on the rear
of the unit. Press this button with a pointed object if the radio
fails to function properly. The clock settings and stations you have
preset, etc., will revert to the factory preset.
