Suggestion: Put the machine off, try some WD40 on the machine where the lock is (not on the door). Then open & close the door a few times. After a couple of minutes try the machine

Find your book that came with the washer, and it will have trouble codes. Your lights are probably flashing a code. Count the flashes then look up your code in the book. That is a good place to start.

Hotoint WMA34 door light keeps flashing and machine wont start

The light flashing usually indicates that the door is not closed securely. this can be caused by a weak or broken door handle spring.
If you are satisfied that the handle is o/k, then the other possibility is that the control module has a blown track, this can be accessed by removing the top cover.
Hope this nhelps.

Indesit washer wont run

the door lock light flashing indicates that the door has not locked or not shut correctly,is the appliance is under 5 yrs old open the door and check the door catch, there are two gaps either side of the catch,if you look into the gaps you should see a metal pin,if the one at the bottom is not there then thats why the door wont catch, there are some screws around the door frame if you take them out and just pry apart the door frame by the catch you will see the pin at the top, push it down till you see it at the bottom gap, refit and test.

Indesit WIDL 106 wont start -ON/OFF-Door Led Flashes rapidly

It is a defectiv controller pcb. I think the eeprom on the controller pcb lost its program (happens often on Indesit machines).

The only solution I know is to change the controller pcb, - not a cheap solution.
I have the same problem with WIDL 106.

The door lock flashes constantly - Indesit WIA101

Switch on machine and start its program. While it is running then turn program selector control to TOP position. After a few seconds ALL lights should flash and machine should stop. It ought now to have been reset to normal.
