Machine filling & draining ok, but water not getting hot. Any ideas? Cheers Tony.

Tony -

Your heating element has probably burnt out, but it's possibly just a break in the wiring or a bad connection to the element.

You need to gain access to the element to do some resistance/continuity testing to find out which of the above is the problem.

Hope this helps.

Dishwasher won't dry dishes

Check the wire connections to the heating element. If they look good check for power going to the heating element. No power problem is in the control if you have power replace the heating element. When checking for power make sure it is set for a drying cycle. Here is a link that should help.

Not going to dry

Hi,
You seem to be looking at the right things.
PDF of manual - Last page gives error of 3 lighrs meaning temperature sensor fault or element fault.
There are usually 2 temperature sensors fitted. One is "running" and the other a safety cut out.
Check both are ok and closed when cool.
It is possible the element is faulty - causing too much current draw - which is sensed and prevents use.
I would replace the element if it is older than 3 years, as the temperature sensors are usually all or nothing devices.

Hoover hd 83m not heating and finishing wash

the heater element will need to be replaced as the programme will not advance as the stats will not be satisfied. if the heater is tested as ok then it may be the heater relay in the control board.

Heater element problems

Why did you decided that it is an heating element problem,it could be a thermostat issue as well. Check with a multi-meter whether you have power on the heating element tags. In case you have power on its tags, the heating element should be replaced. But in case you can't read any power on its tags, it's probably a thermostat issue. Good luck!
