Question about Dell Latitude X200 Notebook
I have 2 media bays/docking stations for the DELL X-200.
One media bay contains a Hitachi - LG DVD-ROM drive, the other contains a Samsung drive. Both play CDs, neither plays DVDs - the drive activates, LED blinks, the windows explorer search (flashlight) icon appears but nothing plays. Is this a driver issue or OS issue?. System is running XP
It shouldn't be a driver issue. DVD drives are natively supported by XP. What software do you have installed for playing DVD'? Windows Media Player 11 would be excellent, and it's free from Microsoft. PowerDVD and WinDVD are also good, but you have to buy them.

best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
