    its the microchips NT68F63L or bad capacitor problem. you need to open
    monitor to solve the problem. there are more than 3 ways how to repair.
    Can you open the monitor ??

    or

    if you want there is manual how to repair samsung monitors with this
    problem you can find on ebay: Repair manual Samsung monitor 710n, 913v,
    510n and more, Item number: 220389041052.

    it shows step by step reparation process.

Theres only one solution to the problem you have to replace the whole power supply board .its easier to replace them than finding and soldiering the defective parts like the capacitor on the board .u can just replace the power supply board if u think the power has a problem. if it doesnt work then u have to replace also the main board or the board connecting the rgb cable.its more expensive to replace the board but its worth it. ur lcd will work better and its easy to put them on the lcd casing .

Fine tuning the contrast & darkness


Right click the display go to properties and on the advance tab try reducing or advancing the refresh rate to see if there is a difference. If negative restore the rate to the original setting. Good Luck. Ed Pinero

Hello sir my samsung lcd monitor model no 740N . in dis monitor right side display two verticle lines green n light pink but hoe to i resolved dis problem please give me suggestion


You cant resolve it tiny resistors in the screen have failed and that is why the lines have appeared, it is a case of live with it or buy a new monitor

I think a capacitor on PSU board has popped.. Check it. replace it for a $1.00 part

Monitor blackout thought green powerlights on


When your dell e173fp lcd monitor black out, the led power light are still green color. Normally, this will be the inverter board or ccfl lamp problem. May i know, after this monitor black out, do you have try use the torch light to see any display on the screen?
