I have a similar problem with my HP Elite series keyboard and mouse. Keyboard works fine, but mouse is not acknowledged. If I use keyboard shortcuts to navigate the mouse laser will flash when there is a process taking place, but the receiver does not acknowledge button clicks or movement. I have tried to reconnect with no success, unplug and replug USB receiver and replace batteries. Each of these has worked with short lived success, but nothing seems to last very long. thoughts?

Sounds like you need to resync the mouse to the wireless receiver that is connected to the computer.

MOUSE WILL NOT WORK

You haven't said what kind of mouse you have or whether it used to work.
I'll offer some suggestions for the most common problems:
If it used to work but now doesn't, try a system restore back to when it did work.
If that doesn't work--are you using a wireless mouse? If so, are the batteries fresh and are they inserted correctly?
If you are using a wireless mouse, have you pushed the little "connect" button on the bottom?
You haven't said, but is the other mouse a wireless one or a USB mouse? If your USB mouse doesn't work, try another USB port. If you go into the device manager, do you see a "human interface device" or a "mouse" listed? If so, it will tell you the system recognizes the device. If that is missing, there is a good chance the mouse is dead.

check the batteries on the mouse
usually on the underside of a mouse possibly under a plastic sticker rub your fingernail across the top to locate a small (phillips screw) star screw make sure they are connected you can do this by spinning them around and fully charged

I need a macintosh driver for this keyboard

According to the specs of the keyboard and mouse you can not use them with a Mac, so there is no driver.
Any drivers that you would have needed should have been a CD within the original package.
Here is the required OS: Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition , Microsoft Windows 2000 / XP
This is where I got my information. Let me know if you need more clarification or have other questions. http://reviews.cnet.com/keyboards/creative-desktop-wireless-7000/1707-3134_7-31900435.html

Lights are on but mouse doesn,t work.Inland wireless mouse and keybord. Keyboard works great.

Check with fresh batteries.. Did you sync the mouse with transciever? Push tiny button on transceiver, (maybe hold for few seconds) light flashes quickly.. then push tiny button under the mouse, light stops flashing. Try few times, maybe otherway round. If still not work consider defective.

KEYBOARD DOESN"T WORK!!!!

Replace the battery inside the keyboard.

Make sure the wireless "receiver" is in the "line-of-sight" between the keyboard and the receiver.

Make sure that the wireless "receiver" is still connected to a USB port in your computer.

Wireless mouse and keyboard not working

If you have got a USB receiver for the wireless keyboard and mouse, then the solution might be with the receiver. Normally we know that to play a USB thumb drive, we simply plug in and play. But some model of Acer computer require us to press the button on the thumb drive to activate it. The model I had (an Aspire model) set the press button same as the blicking light bulb. So (a) turn on computer, (b) plug in thumb drive receiver (c) press button on the drive, (d) press "contact" button on the mouse and keyboard. That works for me.

Wireless mouse/keyboard

The manufacturer no longer has the drivers on its web site nor could I find drivers on any of the archive sites I?m aware of. If you?re in love with this mouse I would try emailing Sakar (http://www.sakar.com/about.aspx) to see if they will send you the drivers for your operating system. If that doesn?t work you could try just letting Windows try to find/install the best driver it has. If that doesn?t work it just might be time for an upgrade.
