I have a mother board of Asus. Model no. A79266-VM. I want to replace my CRT Monitor with a LCD 19" Monitor. Will it work?

You’ll be fine.
Most LCD monitors either have VGA connection you’ll need or have VGA plus other connections but, all you need is the VGA connection.
