Did you just install a NIC (aka ethernet port) in your copier?
To print Network Multi PDL Printer Kit C1 needs to be installed. This contains the NIC and the N Boot-Rom. The copier then needs to be upgraded with networked firmware using SST.
Go into Service Mode (Additional Functions > 2,8 > Additional Functions). Go to Copier > Display > Version. Check the number for BOOT-ROM. This should have a N at the end. If not you need to replace the C BOOT-ROM with a N BOOT-ROM.
Also under Copier > Display > Version check the number for PS/PCL. If this is blank then you don't have printer drivers installed on the copier. You will need to get a technician to come out and upgrade the firmware on the machine.

In Windows 7, you can right click on the printer under Devices and Printers, then select "Printer properties" (not "Properties"), then under "Device Settings" you can set the "Duplex Unit" to "Installed". Afterwards, you can go back to "Printing Preferences"->"Finishing"->"Print on Both Sides"->Print on Long/Short Edge.
