2 year old may tag washer when first starts up it has a sulfer odor and we are on city water????

Stagnant water is collecting in base of drum, which will give off sulphides between washes.check penny trap for any coins buttons trapped , thus may prevent complete emptying.also if you have not already consider if you are in a hard water area, if you are the calcium build up on the internal parts will retain these impurities more than a clean machine so bleaching will only part cure the problems.you will need to add something like calgon into the machine periodically.dont overload machine and check water levels on rinse cycle.if the water doesn't fill nearly half way on final rinse you may need to check if the pressure switch has any water in it as this will prevent air pressure being right so filling will be affected on rinse cycles.maybe too much info here but some of this May be of use to you.

Zanussi 1400 Front Loader: Machine washs clothes as per normal but does not drain the water and cannot go into the spin cycle. Sits there doing nothing then starts bleeping.

This is almost certainly a simple problem with your empty pump filter being clogged. The empty cycle is timed and if it can't get all the water out in time because the filter is blocked and slowing the empty down, then it will fail safe and won't step on to the final spin cycle with excess water in the drum. While it's trying to get the water evacuated, you will probably see the machine doing a slow tumble for up to 8 minutes and you may also hear the empty pump running too.

You need to locate and clean the filter. Depending on the model (You haven

Zanussi fle 1416w wont fully drain the water out and final spin leaves clothes quite wet. When i turn the drum manually i can hear the water below the drum sloshing about. What's wrong with it?

Hi.

Check for drain blockage, check position of the drain hose and check the pressure switch.

1) Access the drain filter and look for drain blockage. With Zanussi front loaders this located in front at the bottom right hand corner, there is an access door in there.Open the door, unscrew the cap and use a container to collect the water. Disconnect power before starting maintenance.

2) Check the position of the drain hose. Make sure that the height of the hose elbow is as specified in the manual or you get siphoning (water getting back from drain hose inside the tub) and drain does not end.

3)The machine has a pressure switch. It is a sensor connected to a long thin rubber hose. The pressure switch is located in control assembly. Clean pressure hose and switch. One way to test the pressure switch is by blowing into the switch, but manufacturers say this must not be done as you can damage a good switch.
The pressure switch is difficult to test in full. Testing is done either reading voltages while machine is cycling or reading Ohms at the switch with tub empty and full. For safety reasons I suggest users to avoid performing tests or maintenance that must be done with power on.

Here a page about drain/spin problem.

Start checking drain hose and drain filter.

I have a zanussi zw1125 washing macnine im finding it difficult to operate sometimes the clothes are not spun out and i cant get the spin to work can you give me the download instructions for this model

You can download the manual at:

I would suggest that you go straight to "Cleaning the pump" on Page 18. I would strongly suspect that this may be the cause of your problems.

The empty cycle is timed and if it can't get all the water out in time because the empty pump filter is blocked and slowing the empty down, then it will fail safe and won't step on to the final spin cycle with excess water in the drum.

Zanussi jetsystem 1400 not drainng properly.........

There should be a filter located at bottom front right of washer behind a metal cover.
Press on cover to open, and remove filter by unscrewing anti -clockwise.
Also check outlet pipe is not blocked, more so if it goes into a sink waste connection, if it still leaves water in drum, then there is probably a partial blockage else where, which will require further investigation.
Please leave a fixya rating if my solution solves your problem.
Thankyou.

Wont drain, wont empty, wont go onto rinse, drain or spin during

The filter on this machine is behind the flat at bottom right of machine. Tilt machine back before unscrewing to avoid spillage. If filter is clear get back to me and will explore other possibilities.

WFLI2440 FRONT LOAD FABRIC SOFTENER NOT DISPENSING

your soap drawer is most likely to be blocked , the only true way of clearing the blockage is to take the soap dispenser completely out . you will see that all the jets will be blocked ,you can do this before taking it all apart by taking the drawer out band looking up, if it looks clean ie; no black gunge then it may be a water valve problem, as the cold fill side has 2 internal valves both have come on together to clear the conditioner compartment.
