2 year old may tag washer when first starts up it has a sulfer odor and we are on city water????

Stagnant water is collecting in base of drum, which will give off sulphides between washes.check penny trap for any coins buttons trapped , thus may prevent complete emptying.also if you have not already consider if you are in a hard water area, if you are the calcium build up on the internal parts will retain these impurities more than a clean machine so bleaching will only part cure the problems.you will need to add something like calgon into the machine periodically.dont overload machine and check water levels on rinse cycle.if the water doesn't fill nearly half way on final rinse you may need to check if the pressure switch has any water in it as this will prevent air pressure being right so filling will be affected on rinse cycles.maybe too much info here but some of this May be of use to you.

Zanussi 1400 Front Loader: Machine washs clothes as per normal but does not drain the water and cannot go into the spin cycle. Sits there doing nothing then starts bleeping.

This is almost certainly a simple problem with your empty pump filter being clogged. The empty cycle is timed and if it can't get all the water out in time because the filter is blocked and slowing the empty down, then it will fail safe and won't step on to the final spin cycle with excess water in the drum. While it's trying to get the water evacuated, you will probably see the machine doing a slow tumble for up to 8 minutes and you may also hear the empty pump running too.

You need to locate and clean the filter. Depending on the model (You haven

I have a zanussi zw1125 washing macnine im finding it difficult to operate sometimes the clothes are not spun out and i cant get the spin to work can you give me the download instructions for this model

You can download the manual at:

I would suggest that you go straight to "Cleaning the pump" on Page 18. I would strongly suspect that this may be the cause of your problems.

The empty cycle is timed and if it can't get all the water out in time because the empty pump filter is blocked and slowing the empty down, then it will fail safe and won't step on to the final spin cycle with excess water in the drum.

The wash cycle runs and runs.

Most diswashers have a complete cycle that lasts over an hour. The machine fills with about 1.5-2 quarts of water, rinses the dishes for a few minutes, then empties the water, then fills again with new water and rinses for a few more minutes, then empties. This is to get a good bit of the looser gunk off the dishes, and to soften up any other stuff that has dried on there. Then the machine fills a third time, the soap door pops open, and it washes for a much longer time to hopefully dissolve away pretty much anything left on the dishes. Then it empties, and does a rinse the soap off cycle, and usually a final cycle that rinses again with a little bit of rinse agent to help them dry quickly.

The whole process uses about 2 gallons of water.

Zanussi jetsystem 1400 not drainng properly.........

There should be a filter located at bottom front right of washer behind a metal cover.
Press on cover to open, and remove filter by unscrewing anti -clockwise.
Also check outlet pipe is not blocked, more so if it goes into a sink waste connection, if it still leaves water in drum, then there is probably a partial blockage else where, which will require further investigation.
Please leave a fixya rating if my solution solves your problem.
Thankyou.

Wont drain, wont empty, wont go onto rinse, drain or spin during

The filter on this machine is behind the flat at bottom right of machine. Tilt machine back before unscrewing to avoid spillage. If filter is clear get back to me and will explore other possibilities.
