Does the roller make any noise when you send a print request ? or does it stay put as if no print job was sent.

You have a paper jam
pull out the paper tray, check for the jam if all is well, open the printer, check under the printer cartridge, then the back
a little piece of paper will cause the jam
it is a good idea to use canned air to clean your printer, under the cartridge and the rollers on a regular basis (once a month)

Paper jam error yet there is no paper: HP 9250C

If you are sure you really have cleared a possible jam (often hard to see) it means the paper path sensor has failed. It can be replaced but the service cost may exceed that of a new printer

Try placing the business card sheet in the main paper bin instead of the manual feed or adjusting the print orientation from Portrait to Landscape or vice versa.

Problems with avery mac label expert

To reset the size in your printer to the correct A4 size, do this:
Go to your Applications folder on your hard drive.
In it, you will find a Utilities folder.
Inside that folder, you will find a folder called "Printer Setup Utility."
Inside THAT folder, you will find a list of printers you have connected to your Mac.
Click on one. You will see, at the top of your screen, a set of menus. Click on the "Printer Setup Utility" menu at the far left.
Choose "Preferences" from the drop-down list.
You will see a dialog box with three options: Printing, Sharing, and Faxing. If Printing is not automatically displayed, click on the Printing tab.
At the bottom of the Printing dialog box, you will see another pull-down menu: "Default paper size in page setup"
Choose A4, or whatever size you wish.
Close up all the boxes, and print your labels to your heart's content.
When you're done with your labels, don't forget to repeat this process to switch your printer back to your ordinary size paper.
Hope this helps.

Printing position of a picture

heyo Chuckie,

Really depends on your printer. I am assuming you are using Word. When looking at your documents, go to FILE, PRINT, click on PROPERTIES and then LAYOUT tab. THere is BORDERLESS printing. If you have a laser printer it may not have a problem with this, if you have an inkjet, there are paper rollers in the print that need to hold the paper while printing. As a last resort, I would make a PDF of the doc and swing over to Kinkos or a printing shop and print it off there.

Good Luck.
