Question about Computers & Internet
I got the asus vk266h with built in webcam, the software they sent with it Life frame does not open with vista (no suprise there). I have run it with the compatability mode in properties but no luck. I tried downloading drivers but have no idea what im doing. I just wanna get a picture up on the screen from the cam, how do I do it? when i click the lifeframe 3 icon it keeps thinking but never opens it however it worked fine when i first got the laptop yesterday (mine is an asus with vista also). I think my step brother did a windows update on my computer and ever since the lifeframe won't open. I'm not sure what to do!
I too got the vk26 monitor with the built in webcam. So I too had the problem with the software. I tried drivers, redownloading and uninstalling..etc,etc. But packaged with the monitor is a series of cables, one of which you HAVE to plug the into the back of the monitor and into your computer. I thought that the dvi cable would take care of everything, ehh,I thought wrong. Asus didn't mention that in the very small worded monitor guide. So in short, once you install the software, you must you the usb cable that came with the monitor, plug that in,and you're good to go. =)
