Question about Logitech Cordless Mouse
I have purchased a studio dell pc and v220 cordless mouse. I have installed the latest logitech driver and also tried the connection utility. I have followed the intructions for connection to no avail. I've also changed the battery in the mouse, used a different usb port in the pc but the mouse still doesn't work. Any ideas?
The V220 is a quite nice rodent, my favorite. Check 3 things.
1) Is the battery facing the right way? Minus end goes in first. Green LED should turn on for a few seconds after the battery is installed.
2) Is the mouse ON? The switch under the mouse is supposed to turn on automatically when the receiver is removed. This does not always work.
3) Unplug the USB Receiver. Connect it to a different USB port. Run the Logitech Connect utility.
If the mouse still does not work, uninstall the Setpoint software and reboot. It is possible that the driver did not install correctly. After reboot, try Step 3 again.
Setpoint software is only needed if you want to use the wheel click or horizonal scroll features.
If all else fails, try installing your V220 on a different computer.

Try recyncing the mouse to the usb receiver. there should be a button on the bottom of the mouse and a button on the receiver.
