Question about Dryers
How do I stop a fan like this
This is my 3rd fan in the last two years I have bought. This time I thought by buying an expensive fan won't give any problems, but it is the same story.
Fan worked for couple of days, then it won't start again. I figured out from the noise it was making that it is due to friction. So I put some oil, then it started working, but it worked for a day only.
It is the regular fan, not the tower. Hope someone knows the answer for this.

Looking in the wrong place. i see this 3 to 4 times a week. you have a bad motor. Motor will continue to run if the gas does not light. Just like it runs on air only. The motor stops due to internal switch that keeps it from catching on fire. Sorry someone put you on the wrong track but you will need to replace the motor.
Please rate this solution if helpful.
