Video files are heavy files.

One way is to reduce the resolution. Secondly, try to take smaller shots of 45 sec etc and then later join/edit them to form a bigger video.
If you intend to take a lot of video clips and that also long ones(like 9 min etc) then this is not the camera for you. You must then buy a proper video camera.

Unfortunately, no. By recording in fast mode, the camera captured fewer frames than usual. When played back at the normal speed, the action appears faster than normal. Because the camera recorded fewer frames, there is no way to make up for the images that were not captured. You could slow down the playback, but the result would be a jerky, jumpy video.
Now, if you had accidentally captured the video in slow motion, you could then throw away some of the intervening frames and recreate a normal-speed video.

How to use the canon ixus 75 as web camera

The SD750 cannot be used as a webcam. It was designed to store images and videos to memory, not to stream live video to another device.

Sorry that wasn't the answer you wanted to see, but there it is.

For those interested... It is possible to use a Powershot camera as a webcam thou it requires 2 softwares:

1)PSremote
2)Softcam

Basically I used psremote to create a viewfinder on the screen and den use Softcam as a virtual video capture device to capture the image on the "viewfinder".

I tried and tested on MSN and it works.

For software or more indepth instructions, feel free to email me at ryanwhoo@hotmail.com with the subject "Powershot Webcam".

Just a video of 8.03 minutes captured in my Power Shot A550 Digital Camera shows 867 MB size

A 1.3 hour movie is recorded on a DVD, not a CD. DVDs can hold a minimum of 4.7 GB, or nearly seven times the capacity of CDs. Your 867 MB file of 8.03 minutes indicates that you were recording at about 1,800 KB/sec, or the highest quality recording level. (See specifications here.) If you're willing to record your video in a smaller size, you can get much more recording on a CD.

Continuous video capture

Hi, The A410 can only record a maximum of 3 minutes. That sucks becasue it doesn't matter what resolution you use, it will max out at 3 minutes. NewMediaMan
