you have to check to see that the pins match the pins on the radio. Get a schematic of the radio and look at the mic area. Usually it will tell you how to hook what wire to what or you may just get lucky.

I need an FS-1503 mic wiring schematic. It is an 8-pin and I want to convert it to 4-pin. Any tip please?


find the grounds

on 8 pins you have two grounds black wire and copper screens

connect both to a flying wire

you can use a beep test digital meter {2$ type} to find the TX line

white or yellow is usualy audio to the radio from the mic

and thats it
oh yey too find the ground on the radio look up its details

you can use the beep test also to its neg wire {not the case it floats not + or -}

mic
the case is for the screen wires coppers
the black wire is ground on the mic plug only
the white or yellow will be audio to the radio
the orange or blue will be TX enable and gets shorted to the ground black when you press the TX key

try googling it. Are you talking about the power plug or the mic plug? the Mic plugs should all be the same.

I have a radio shack trr470 and I bought a cobra CA-76 power mic with a 5 pin conector instead of a 6 pin conecter by mistake .can I use this mic on this radoo .do you know what cooe wires form tje mic go...


according to the schematic I just looked at the mic for this radio is a 5 pin. As long as it is a plug in and not a din you should have no problem connecting it.All you have to do is re-wire it and be on your way.

Here's a hints on how to repair or fix Nokia 5800 XpressMusic Digi Mic Knopfler problem issues.
A guide picture below which I included an schematic diagram shows each every components and line paths for quick test and check up procedures.
Digi Mic Knopfler Pin configuration:
1. L/R - microphone's left and right audio signals groundings
2. CLK - Audio Clock data
3. Data - Digital Microphone data
4. VDD - Power supply voltage

Locate and trace each and every components, line paths and corresponding connection as shown on a picture. The red highlighted components and line paths is for the power supply voltage which came from Power management IC (AVILMAS) Vsim2- approximately 2-3 volts.
Test and check this components and track the supply voltage from C220 to C2170 then through the digi mic knopfler pin 4.

The pink highlighted components and line paths is for Audio Clock data signal, which is came from the Audio Codec IC (Avilmas) then flow across R2201 and R2170 (valued 100ohms each) then to the Digi mic knopfler pin number 2. Check also the C2173 valued 22p Clock filter capacitor for possible damaged.
I included step by step procedures on the images like as follows:
* Check each components and line paths.
* Replace if found open or shorted
* Jumper the line paths if found open or cut
* Check or replace the digi mic knopfler for a quickest step might as possible.

The microphone's digital data signals has also a line paths connected to the front side of the Printed circuit board, check and trace also this line paths which is connected to digi mic knopfler's pin 4

HOW DO I INSTALL ROGER BEEP ON A GALAXY 33 CB RADIO


Does the roger beep come with instructions? It can vary between beep boards.

Typically it gets installed inline with the mic jack.

There is a wire or pin on the board where the tx wire, and the rx wires go.These wires get disconnected from the mic jack, then a wire goes to the tx pin. Then there is an audio wire that gets connected to the audio wire of the mic jack. Then the black wire to ground, and the red wire to switched 12v right off the power switch.

Here is a schematic of the board connected to the mic jack so you know what pin is what.

Again, I would need to know what roger beep board you would like to install.

PIN 2 - N/C
PIN 3 = TRANSMIT
PIN 4 = AUDIO
PIN 5 = RECEIVE

Shure SM2 Headset/Mic wiring


Headset connection: Blue wire to Pin 2, White wire to Pin 1, Yellow wire to Pin 3. Connect Pins 1 & 2.
Microphone connection: Black wire to Pin 3. Red wire to Pin 2. Ground wire to Pin 1.
I am using a male/female 7-pin XLR connector assembly to black box. I am using two 3-pin XLR connectors, one for SM2 microphone function, one for SM2 headset function.
