Ours did the same. My husband checked the manual and found that the filters were FILTHY! The filter is at the front of the inside unit. If you still have the manual it will show you where. This fixed ours as it was NOT working at all!!

Just read that you don't have a manual. You can lift up the front of the inside unit. The filter lays on top. It should be transparent. Ours did EXACTLY the same thing. We thought we'd broken it!

Up under the main front cover on the top right hand corner is a button called "manual switch" push that in and it will reset the unit. But make sure you pull out all grates/ filters and give them a Vacuum and a dust down then soak in water/ sugar soap solution dry off and towel pat down.

Gree 18000 Btu Air Conditioner , f2 appears on display

F2 is an indoor pipe sensor fault. You will need an air con tech or electrician to do this as the sensor is wired into the indoor board. Gree parts can be a bit difficult to obtain but a similar sized pipe sensor from an LG or Teco unit will work. You may have to "splice" the new sensor onto the existing pipe sensor wiring as the connection to the indoor board will likely be different. Contact LG or Teco for your colsest parts outlet or buy direct from them.

How to reset pre-def red light blinking on teco aircon unit

You have to try resetting the system. First turn the breaker off for the condenser and wait about 20 seconds. After you turn it back on the system should reset.

All lights are flashing including Pre Def, Timer, Operation and Auto but air conditioner is not functioning

Not sure the make and model of your equipment you have there but sounds to me like your control board is trying to tell you it is bad.
