Hi...
W98se/ internal DVD player (the drive which reads and plays audio CD's) and
a CD-Burner.
Anyone know of a freeware CD burning program less complicated and more
reliable than Roxio EZ CD creator 5.2 ? It appears to be a very
uncooperative program with more "you can't do this, and you can't do that"
than any other program I've ever used. Tells me the drive is in use. Yes the
drive is in use, I must have a disk in the F:\ drive of the CD-Burner to
burn/record it; right?
Making Data and back up files seems far easier with it, but making an Audio
CD has been an exercise in frustration.

CD's I already own to make compilation disks and save the wear and tear on
the originals. Can this program do that? I know you also have Roxio/Adaptec
stuff as we did discuss this in the past IIRC. If I do remember that right,
I assume that you don't really use it then, is that correct? About Winamp.
Decent? Not intrusive or messy? Tell me about that if you would please. The
two work together to do what I would like to accomplish then?

Thanks,

7.5). But if I really want a snappy player, I just bring up Winamp.
Together they seem to make a great team (IMO).

lot though. Perhaps they were using the 6.x versions. OK Richard, I'll take
a look at it and see.
It is disappointing that The EZCD is anything but that. I forget where I got
it, I think it was bundled with the Dell PC. But anyway, I'm in your camp...
I don't care for it very much either.

product you can download and try. I'm not very enamored of the 6.x
versions, the 5.x versions make me much happier.
I have EZCD but only use it for DVDs since it came with my DVD+/-R/RW drive.
I don't like it much at all.
