    Hi,
I've put to my hp nx6110 P4 2M cache 1,73GHz. Be careful because processors with 256 kB cache will not suit to this socket.

I've also upgraded HDD to WD2500BEVE (250GB) however only 131GB are seen. Had you got similar problem when you changed your hard disc?

Your CPU is tied into your motherboard. Only CPUs that are compatible with your motherboard will work. You can get your motherboard model from start>programs>system tools>system information. Once you have the model # then you can start searching for the CPU options. Good Luck.

How can i upgrade my hp model 6735s to perform more faster

You didn't say what your OS is? 32? 64? Vista? xp? Easy hardware upgrade is add memory, you have 1GB, upgrade to 4GB's for 32bit or more for 64bit OS. Another easy upgrade is a faster HDD, yours is 5400rpm's go to a 7200rpm HDD. Of course, Clean and slim down the software. Download, if you don't have, freeware CCLEANER at :http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/, This freeware program will clean the junk from your machine. In the TOOLS section, STARTUP section, disable ALL unnessary startup programs, Toolbars, etc. This will speed up start and running processes. Use MALWAREBYTES freeware to remove all sort of nasty malware, : http://www.filehippo.com/download_malwarebytes_anti_malware/ You can find many freeware programs at FILEHIPPO and MAJORGEEKS. Try these tips for XP and Vista: XP: http://www.wikihow.com/Speed-up-a-Windows-XP-Computer AND, Vista: http://www.pcworld.com/article/143538/windows_vista.html Make sure ALL your HP and Windows Updates are up-to-date.

    32 bit or 64 bit

The terms 32-bit and 64-bit refer to the way a computer's processor (also called a CPU), handles information. The 64-bit version of Windows handles large amounts of random access memory (RAM) more effectively than a 32-bit system.

Can I upgrade from a 32-bit version of Windows to a 64-bit version of Windows?
No. If you are currently running a 32-bit version of Windows, you can only perform an upgrade to another 32-bit version of Windows. Similarly, if you are running a 64-bit version of Windows, you can only perform an upgrade to another 64-bit version of Windows.

I have a compaq presario V6105NR and it currently has a 2.5 inch 5200 RPM 100GB hard drive, i am looking to upgrade to a 7200 RPM 320GB internal drive and all i wanted to know was if my system will support...

Apparently the HP notebook model 441424-001 has a 200 GB HDD in it, I couldn't locate any specifications to what HDD size is the maximum supported by the BIOS of this laptop. I would say you are safe with anything under 500 GB.

On the HP website there's only information about RAM upgrade: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/product?lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&product=3250961&

Problem with upgrading my acer extensa 5620z memory to 4GB

    Hi there.
I recommend you get another stick of SODIMM to replace what seems to be the faulty stick.
If you are using XP or Vista X86 (32bit) then the system will only recognize 2.8 - 3GB of memory, only 64bit operating systems recognize the full 4GB.

Good luck ad thanks for using FixYa!!

    Upgrade vista home premium

As per my knowledge, there is no version of Vista called Vista Professional like in Windows XP.
Make sure what is the version to which you want to upgrade to from Vista Home Premium to Vista Business or Vista Ultimate.
The available versions of Vista Operating Systems along with the features supported from the Link below :
    http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-vista/compare-editions/default.aspx

However, if you want to Upgrade the current version of Vista to a higher version like Vista Business or Vista Ultimate, you need to purchase Vista Anytime Upgrade kit from any retail store or directly from Microsoft.
You can find the required information related to Anytime Upgrade Kit from the link below :
    http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-vista/get/anytime-upgrade-overview.aspx

However, make sure that you had created the Recovery Disks for your notebook using which you will be able to reinstall the preinstalled Operating Sytem along with all the Preinstalled Applications and Drivers after which you need to use the Vista Upgrade Kit to upgrade to higher version of Vista.
However, if you are currently having a 32 Bit Vista preinstalled in the Notebook, it is not possible to upgrade to a 64 Bit Vista since you can upgrade only a 32 Bit of Operating System to a higher version of 32 Bit Operating System and a 64 Bit Operating System to a higher version of 64 Bit Operating System.
    Hope this helps....
