You might try hitting the MENU button on the tv itself to see if you are able to select input / source that way. Some TVs also have the Aux Inputs selected by scrolling through the channels until you come to the aux inputs.
If you cannot reach the AV input mode by scrolling through the channel up down, nor is there is a source or TV/AV button on the set it self, then the news is bad I am sorry. You will need the remote to get AV inputs on this set.
You can get a new remote for the set from here for $1995. Plus postage. Note that it has the TV/AV button.
Happy to answer any questions you may have.
you should have an input button. if so press the button until you get to the input that your dvr/vcr player is on. if you do not have a input button got to the menu button and you should be able to change the input thru the menu.
Hello. One of those inputs are active. You would use the remote to switch between the inputs (and most likely cannot make changes without it). Go pick up one of the universal remotes and make sure that it has the "input" button on it. Follow the directions to get it to work with your tv, then just click the "input" button until you see your vcr or ps3. If you have a menu screen that pops up when you click on some buttons of the tv, the input selection will be in there also.
You need the original remote controller to be able to switch input modes.Universal ones usually don't work. If you don't have the original remote and can't find it ever or if it is too expensive you can buy an rf modulator ( very cheap) and connect your dvd player, game console etc) to the modulator then connect the modulator to your antenna with a coax cable. This worked for me. It placed the connection to channel 4 and other cable channels are still working,
You can buy the RF Modulator from: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180299245670
You need to purchase either a replacement remote from ORION or Ebay, OR you can purchase a replacement universal remote and program it for your TV. Make sure the Universal remote you buy has an input or source button. Radioshack carries several for 8-15 bucks.
