Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I accidentally unplugged my iriver e100 from my computer when it was doing a firmware update. now it stays frozen on the main screen!! Plz help!! D:

on the side of the mp3 player above the lock switch is a very small reset button. it can be pressed using a paper clip, a safety pin, the post of an earring, mechanical pencil led, or something else of similar width and length. press and hold this button until the screen goes blank. it may turn back on itself, or you may need to manually turn it on. it should be fine now.

I can not upload song in my e100.......... explain me all process of upload song in my ipod & not open in my computer.....

The iRiver E100 uses iRiver Plus 3 to manage music, pictures, and more. iRiver Plus 3 can be downloaded for free here:

http://local.iriver.com/mas/download/downloadView.asp?selectPart=cateCode&findWord=01&sno=852&page=1&cateCode=01

  1. Insert the installation CD into your PC to display the installation process screen.
  2. Select iriver plus 3 and click the Install button.
  3. Complete the installation process by following the on-screen instructions.
  4. Turn on the iRiver E100, and then plug it in to the computer using the USB cable.
  5. Open iRiver Plus 3.
  6. Select the desired files / folders in your PC and drag & drop Music, pictures, etc. to the drive which appears as the product.
If you would like, there is a manual available here:

I was charging my E100 and now it's locked and i don't have my manual with me

Hello,

From the US site you'll be able to have a download for the manual.
Use next internet explorer site: http://www.iriverinc.com/lounge/loungeList.asp
enter the phrase e100 in the bar next to GO.

Next select User Manual of E100. An overview of several languages will appear, select yours from the list to open or download.

Ipod won't sync to Itunes

Because you have all your music already backed up onto your pc you can safely erase your ipod. Have you already tried to do a restore on it yet. To do this connect the ipod to the pc and in itunes on the ipods main screen click the Restore button, then choose the bottom most option if it gives you any. If it says to erase the device anywhere, all the better, select that one.

If that doesn't work, assuming you're on a pc and not a mac, open 'My Computer', right click the ipod, select 'Properties' then erase it as you would any harddrive. Once you have done either of these you can resync it in itunes.

All the best
Sean

My Creative Zen started freezing a couple weeks ago. I would press the restart button at the bottom left and that seemed to solve it. Now though, when I turn it on, the Creative Zen welcome screen comes...

It sounds like the hard drive is damaged I have a archos 605 wifi it froze up on me so i turned it off and turned it back on and it wouldn't load pass the archos welcome screen come to find out my hard drive was damaged.Hopfully yours is still under warranty otherwise you'll have to send it in and pay to get it fixed but i would say the hard drive is damaged.

Bleeding screen

You can't "fix" a broken LCD screen. Just replace it or the device. The bleeding means it's actualy broken, not scratched or anything. It won't be easy to replace the screen itself, mainly because it's not that easy to find a replacement screen - you can look in ebay for a dead one with a working screen, but I don't know of any manufacturer that sells these parts alone. Then it's the matter of opening it up without damaging it, and connecting the right X to the right Y. Tiny screws, and very small electronic parts. Bottom line, you can do it for a hobby, but if you just want a working mp3, go buy one. Good luck
