Yes it is compatible as long as the driver for that printer is already install. Make sure that the driver is compatible to your Windows system.If your Windows operating system is Windows 7 you need to download the driver.

You need to contact printer service person for general service.

It shows on Epson's website that it supports Windows Vista 32-bit but it did not tell if it support SP2. It only means that it doesn't since you are encountering error on your computer.

Try to install it on another computer that is running Vista 32-bit SP1. If it works then it only means that the drivers are working but not compatible with Vista 32-bit SP2 yet.

Smithbrother has suggested a possible solution, but make sure you: uninstall first, then reboot, then re-install, but do not turn the printer on until the installation program asks you to. However, there could be lots of other reasons for lack of print. If you have installed the software (driver and Status Manager) does the printer respond to maintenance requests e.g. head cleaing and nozzle checks.

there is no driver for vista if u whant to use priter u must have xp opreting system

t is possible that the ink cartridges in your printer (especially applicable if you are using refilled or compatible carts) can not be read by the printer. Some compatible cartridges have a failure rate as high as 30% and so it is very possible that the machine either does not see the cartridges or can not read them.

Replace the cartridges with genuine Epson ones and try again. The genuine ink will also help to clear any hardening cheap ink in the print head.
