Question about EliteGroup ECS 945GCT-M/1333 Motherboard - v3.0, Intel 945GC, Socket 775, MicroATX, Audio, Video, PCI Express

Press F1 to resume at start up?

When I start up my PC Its reconize the HDD and the CD perfect, after it show this: ¨Press F1 to resume¨. After I press F1 and start up the setup. How can I eliminate this? and inside in Windows Directly?

Hi there
if you boot into bios and disable the diagnostic boot screen than save and exit than you should be ok upon restart

When you go into you setup screen,choose the setting that you want,then tell it to save the settings. If irt is loosing the setting then likely  the cmos battery is bad and needs to be replaced.

Your Hard Disk Drive is crashing or has crashed. You need to buy a new hard disk drive, and then you will have to reinstall windows and start over.

Cmos checksum erroe defaults loaded


press del to enter setup.then choose default bios setup. then save and exit.pc will restart.

I changed the battery on motherboard, it started and showed "checksum error press F1 to continue" pressed F1 everything ok, set up the time, date then restart the system, it is working but there...


You should press Delete to access the BIOS setting.
First you need to change the time setting.
Then you must change the Boot sequence from Removable Device to HDD where your first boot device will be your HDD which is where your Operating system is installed and the next thing your system will seek after the POST.

Not enough space in runtime area smbios data will not be available


asus motherboard pc since yesterday when booting at start beeps twice and only after "checking nvram" BIOS shows this message:

Not enough space in Runtime area. Not enough space in Runtime area. SMBIOS data will not be available. SMBIOS data will not be available. Press f1 to resume. Press F1 to continue.

When i start my computer then the chassis intruted fatal error...... system halted are show when i restart then the show press f1 for resume what i do pleas help


click start run type cmd then type chkdsk/f which will automatically fix any corrupt files on your hard drive then defragment your hard drive

When I press my power button 3 or 4 time (on off) or some time more then display show in monitor. when I press 1st time then the pc start but no display show in monitor. when I off it and then again on it...

Whenever I boot I get the followoing msgs- pri master atapi cd rom primary slave ide hdd primary salave hd smart command failed no 1de master hdddetected press f1 to continue-- then okay But sometimes...


please change the wire connection in your pc from CD rom to HDD so that HDD become primary master and cd rom become primary slave, check after this, and if still get error check your IDE cable, and for the smart command fail may be your HDD didnt support smart feature, so disable this from advance setup

Press F1 to resume


Try changing the CMOS battery (leave the battery out for 5mins then replace with new 1) if that does not work flash the BIOS
