Question about Durabrand PDV-709

Screen in negative

My PDV-709's screen is very bright, and it has nothing to do with the video settings. it's like a negative picture, but it's still very very white. if I view it from the very top, it almost looks normal, but it's still kind of negative...i tried messing with all of the video settings, but they didn't do anything.

    Mine does the same thing. Looking at it from other angle helps, but not much. At angles I can see outlines and thats about it.

This looks like a problem the hinge cable that drives the video LCD display, or a at worse the LCD driver IC on the motherboard. but these units are fairly stable please elaborate

LOST POWER CORD


I need a new ac adapter and I sent an email to evergo@att.net which is the customer service for the company that makes the PDV-709 dvd player. They responded within 1 day and gave me the instructions as to how to order one from them and the price ($20) etc. They require a money order sent to the address below.

Hello, there are no AV input connectors on pdv-709. Therefore you can not use this unit for monitor purpose. Best regards, Arpi
