On a refractor the optical lens is ALWAYS in the front-- the eyepieces go into the rear.

Meade lens assembly

Oh dear, that will be a doublet lens, they fit together like this
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Achromat_doublet_en.svg

What diameter are they? If about 70mm or so it is the objective (front) lens for the telescope. I do not hold much hope that you can assemble them so that they are optically aligned, but luck may be with you.
They will assemble something like the reverse of this

How do I change out the main lense in my Polaris 60EQ-D

Your scope only has ONE main LENS in the front. You change magnification using the eyepieces. If the main lens is broken you must contact Meade here:

2 small lens fell out of my telescope how do I get them back in and where do they go ??

The Meade ETX90 does NOT have small lens! It has a large curved lens in the front. and a holder for the eyepiece in the back (top). There is also a camera port in the back, and a flip lever that sends the light either straight back to a camera, or UP to the eyepiece holder.

There is an INTERNAL secondary mirror mounted on the back of the front large lens. If this fell off INSIDE, you will need to remove the front lens to fix it. NOT an easy fix as the optical alignment can get messed up when you do this.

Here is the manual for an ETX90, you should read it completely.

Lense taken apart, not sure how to reassemble

Sorry cannot help you. If it has more than 3 elements no one except an optical technician can reassemble the elements. Call Meade customer service. They may take it back knowing what happened????

76AZ-AD (180 x 76mm) Telescope: I recently purchased a Meade telescope but can not...

Does it have a name on the scope? If it has a MIRROR in the bottom it is a REFLECTOR.

If it has a lens on the front it is a REFRACTOR. Look on Meade's manual web site under the header REFRACTOR or REFLECTOR for one similar to your telescope.

My New 12? Meade LX200 ACF GPS telescope does not have the two screw?s in the front and the rear of the top of the main optical tube for mounting a dovetail plate to the top center or does it have screws...

You may need to mount just a rail like this one:

You can call Meade directly and ask:

Im trying to find out to put my telescope together just got it but no directions any help please

You did not say what brand and model number--

However-- Meade telescopes maintains a web site with the manuals for all of their telescopes. Find one that is similar in style to your telescope and use it to learn about how to assemble yours.

There are really only three styles of telescopes reflector (with a mirror), refractor with a lens in front, and catadioptric with a lens in front and mirror in back--

and only two kinds of mounts-- ALT AZ (up down left right) and equatorial (usually has a counter weight and needs to be polar aligned)-- the general instructions are usually about the same--

Here are the manuals-- which usually include how to use a telescope--

Try the refractors and reflector manuals first--

Good luck-

I have a meade telescope model 60azd. My kids

If the front lens is broken you will not be able to repair it at reasonable cost--

Sorry-

For their next telescope may I suggest a nice small Dobsonian style- like this one--
