Get an error code of E1 a few minutes after you start the wash mode. Manuels said that it is a water leakage problem, but it doesnt say where to look or what to do about it.

I would look under the dishwasher.. i believe the modle you have sits in a pan and if it fills with so much water then it will put out that error code. more than likely a mouse chewed a small hole in the drain line.. i would uninstall the dishwasher and start from there.. when i say uninstall i mean pull it out from under the counter.

Hi, I have an E1 error code what could that be.

E1 error code is when you have water leakage problems.
Check for blocked or chafed hoses and loose clamps for leakage areas. Check the tub seals as well.
Also check that the water pump seal is not leaking. If so, you will have to replace the pump as it is a sealed unit.

What is an E1 error code for an LG Dishwasher? Model LD12AW2

Please check at both ends of the drain hose and confirm that you do nit have a leak. Also, please confirm that water is not leaking directly under the dishwasher.
If you are certain that you do not have a real leak, check the impeller (under the mesh filter in the sump area beneath the lower dish rack) is not damaged and is firmly in place.
The E1 error code is a Leakage Error, detected by the motor spinning faster than it should if the unit is filled with water.
Please report back with what you find. Good Luck!
