Radio locked can't get it to unlock

I have the xdvd8183 and I tried the passwords I thought it was and my radio locked and I can't get it to unlock how do I reset the radio so I can try other passwords it might be?

- Yes I got it to reset to where its asking me for my password again and the password I used isn't working it keeps telling me it's wrong even though I know that's the only one I used I even tried to use 0000 to see if maybe it reset to factory so I need to know how to override the password or reset it so I can create a new passwordMar 01, 2009
- There is no code on top of the radio that I could see that was only four digits. But thank you very much for the help. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.Clarification Request

Have you unplugged your ground from your battery to reset it?
