The USB cable that it comes with does not charge the device, you need the power outlet cable in order to charge it.  Hope this helps.

Lost charge Isonic 787

You should be able to use any standard USB and charge it via camera to computer USB. Or you might try a standard USB AC adapter.

Snapbox 566 will not keep charge, not even enough charge to turn on at all. Worked for about a week and now nothing. Charger that came with it does not fit and have been charging by connecting to computer....

You need a new battery! After 2 years of ownership, mine is doing the same. The battery is 'spent' - shot, kaput. They only have so many re-charges. Now to find the battery that fits....

Where can i buy a battery for a sonic snapbox av50

I have not found any mention of a replacement battery. What you can do is take your battery into a battery specialty store or to you local discount electronics store. What you are looking for is a similar battery to the one you have. Your battery will have a label listing its chemistry, voltage, and maybe capacity. You need to match the chemistry and voltage, capacity equal or more than original. Good luck

Camera will not power up when opened.

Actually, it very well might be the battery. Batteries hold only so many re-charges before they become spent (shot, kaput). Try buying a new battery and see if this just doesn't fix your problem. My battery did same thing where it 'fully charged' and then as soon as I unplugged it, the cam had a nano of a second of operation before it seemingly went dead again. Needs a new battery.

Need Vista driver for isonic snapbox m1 camera so I can use it on my laptop.

hi lynneg,

my apologies but iSonic was not able to create a vista driver for their snapboxs.

do you need to perform file transfers by the way? like to upload the pictures/videos to your computer from the camera? or you want to use it as a webcam?

looking forward to your reply.

Battery replacement

I checked Batteries Plus and Radio Shack. I didn't see anything on their websites but if you bring it into the store, they have the resources there to find it for you.
