Yes you may use your regular keyboard if it plugs into the keyboard port the the wireless mouse plug into a usb port.
Depending on how the wireless mouse/keyboard reciever plugs into your computer. it's either it splits into one keyboard plug and one mouse plug OR just on usb plug.

my sumvision SV-823K 3D optical mouse lights up but no longer controls the cursor or clicks buttons. All the USB drivers are working, changing the USB port I put the mouse in and rebooting made no difference, niether did system restore, but when I looked for the sumvision driver(and if so ,where do I find it(?)) on the menu, it was blank. Do I need a new (or any) driver or could it be the hardware? I have dropped it on the floor several times.
