Question about Toshiba REGZA 42WLG66 42 in. HD-Ready LCD Television
I originally auto set up my new Toshiba TV to "air", now hooked up to cable, but can not get back to the screen to change to cable! So TV is blank!
Try setting tv to channel 3 or channel 4, this should coincide with the back of satellite box (a little black switch with a 3 or 4). then switch channels with your satellite box. I would recommend using another output off the satellite box to feed the other tv, a splitter loses some signal quality an can go bad as well. get a long rca cable to feed tv!

Hook the cable tv signal directly from the wall to the tv,
then activate auto-memory. The tv should stop going thru the
channels once it finishes memory procedure.
