Can't recall password

Hi there
if you shut down your computer and open the case and look for a silver battery and remove it for 4 minutes than reinstall it this will reset the bios you will have to redo the time and date ok and if it does not get bye the password screen just press the esc key this is the short way ok so keep me posted on how this goes for you if needed we can go the long way but try this first ok best regards mike
