I have a 2wire att router that loses internet connection

CONSTANTLY loses the connection whenever I'm playing my favorite game, Grand Chase. I don't think it is the game at all, because when 2 people are connected to the internet we both lose the connection at the same time. In the task bar it looses the little world next to the computer for a few seconds or minutes and then it comes back.
