The best and least expensive solution is isopropyl alcohol 90 percent or higher. Don't put the alcohol directly on the screen, but use a dampen a soft cloth and apply it that way. Then take another soft cloth and wipe off any excess before it dries.

Legs Locks Loose

Ross
-It is possible that you are overloading the tripod, thus causing this problem (check specs on tripod model)
HOWEVER IF YOU AREN'T....Giotto uses (2) different leg lock designs..., quick release (normally adjusted by a socket wrench) or rotary (screw locks)!
- If tripod uses screw locks, sometimes foreign material gets into the mechanism and either damages it or prohibits from tightening!!!!!
Note: rotary locks are easy to maintain & if you need parts..., they are user replaceable and usually inexpensive! (contact Giottos distributor in the country you live in)!!!
BUT FIRST!!!! (often problem is caused by dirty lock mechanism)
-carefully unscrew the leg lock (that is slipping) until it separates from the leg higher leg section & carefully pull out the lower tube (at the top of the lower tube will be 'shims' that are part of the lock mechanism).
-Look closely at existing 'shims' do they show signs of cracking, of a build up of dirt, etc. (if damaged they will need to be replaced)
-if shims are undamaged..., use rubbing alcohol & a clean cloth to clean shims and both the tube they sit on and the inside of the tube they slide into.
-once both sides of the tubes and both male & female threads of the locking mechanism are cleaned..., place a light coating of a light oil into the threads (sewing machine oil, bike chain oil, etc)...., do not get oil on the shims!!!!!
-replace locking shims back into position and carefully slide leg tube back into place..., then screw locking collar on (this should not take any force..., if while threading lock collar back on..., it seems tight..., back off collar and check positioning of shims). Repeat procedure!!!
TEST RESULTS!!!
Note: in most cases with rotary locks, problem is purely a maintenance issue, cleaning usually fixes the issue!!!

Sanyo Drivers

If your camera uses a memory card of some type then you don't need a driver.
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

MY BOGEN RECEIVER MODEL BR 360 WORKS ONLY ON ONE CHANNEL. THE SPEAKER CONNECTED TO THE OTHER CHANNEL DOES NOT GET ANY SIGNAL.

You could have the same problem we had on our BR-320. We found that the front panel Local and Remote Speaker switches were intermittent. When jiggling the switch, one or both channels would drop out and come back. After cleaning it works great.

Where are the batteries located in a Stanley Tripod flashlight

You'll need to remove the base of each leg by unscrewing the black cap at the bottom. Insert the batteries into the tripod leg. Each leg holds one to three AA batteries depending on the flashlight size.

Kodak m1033 cameraturns on shows date and time have been reset camera buttons and controls do not function

Ii understand your problem description as the camera turns off immidietly after having shown the date and time.

Here are the steps:
1. Make sure you will install a new or fully charged battery/batteries into your camera.
2. Clean the battery contacts.
a. Remove the battery/batteries and the memory card from your camera, then wipe the battery contacts with a soft, clean cloth.
b. Reinstall the battery/batteries into your camera
3. Without the memory card, turn on your camera.
4. Pls test with an alt. batt.
If you do not have access to a dif. battery.
Pls. take the batt out of the camera. Insert the charger into the unit from the main socket and turn the camera on. If the camera works you will need to replace the batt. If not you will need to order a No power repair.

My Kodak m1033 will not stay on. Once I press the power, the screen is blurry and then it shuts off.

If your using the battery which is included on the box the KLIC-7004 try to clean the 3 metal contacts of your battery using a clean dry cloth. hen charged the battery using AC adaptor or USB cable., Now if this not work, Try to turn On the camera using the AC adaptor if you experienced same problem it means the your camera is defective, But if you can turn On the camera using AC adaptor It means the battery is the cause of the problem

Tv screens

Hi there
You can clean the screen with antistatic wipes or just a clean damp cloth, don't use any chemical fluids on the screen or you will damage it and turn it milky white, and you can clean it while its on.

Good luck and thanks for using Fixya!!

Inoperative NextStar

Has the scope been unused for a while? Perhaps the old batteries have leaked or moisture has caused the battery contacts to be tarnished. Try cleaning the battery contacts with a little alcohol and rub with a rough cloth & try again. Can this model use an external power supply? I know with my Meade scope it worked much better with a larger capacity external battery. Also check the cable for any signs of damage or stretching.
