Is there a way to get rid of "kill pages-wait?"

Hi Marcy ,
This "kill page or wait for sometime" is an notification feature of all browsers common mainly Google Chrome. it prompts when --
  • Slow internet connection and you have opened many tabs simultaneously then your browser will stop working and give an error message like "kill page or wait for sometime".
  • Our CPU and RAM usage increases and our browser is stopped for some time and it gives the same message
You can prevent this .[ There is no option to disable this message so we can do things to let this happens again ok ]

  1. Try running chrome in "safe mode" if you have a lot of silent programs running in the background. [Enable safe mode by CTRL+SHIFT+N for chrome]
  2. clear the cache and cookies in your browser
this will help you to minimize no. of occurrence for this annoying message

if still any issue feel free to contact me thanks

Processing gets slow when several web browsers and applications are open even if the RAM can still handle it. At times, the application like WIndows Live Mail hangs (Not Responding). Thanks.

While RAM is an important factor in how fast a computer runs, Processor Time and Usage is also important. That would be your problem, your processor is not able to handle all that info at the same time. So ask yourself. Do you really need several web browsers open at the same time? Or perhaps would it be better if you saved all those pages to favorites and only had one or two open at a time and used the favorites to switch between browser pages.

Slow on facebook

To optimize your Facebook experience, please download the most up-to-date version of your Internet browser. For more information on upgrading your browser, follow the instructions listed here.

In addition, please try the following steps to troubleshoot the issue you're experiencing:
  1. Click out of the application (e.g., click Profile or Inbox at the top of any Facebook page), and then re-open the application.
  2. Refresh the page (Ctrl + R on PCs; Cmd + R on Macs).
If the above steps did not resolve the issue, please contact the developer of the application through their Profile Page if:
  1. The application hangs during the loading screen.
  2. The application loads, but is really slow.
  3. The application loads, but will constantly be out of sync.
If the issue you're experiencing is happening with multiple applications and with Facebook Platform in general, please report it to us here.

Lastly, if you are seeing an "Offline mode" or timed out error in your browser as if they're not connected to the Internet when you try to access you third-party application, you may be experiencing connectivity issues. We'd recommend that you talk directly to your network provider in regards to this issue.

Thank you for using fixya! I hope I had helped you with your problem. May you have a good day!

Message That Keeps poping up google is not responding. it reads "kill pages" or wait

It is crash message that appears in Google Chrome. It is more similar to End now or Cancel message that appears in Windows XP when you try to close a not responding process. You can kill pages which will close the chrome. Or you can wait for the browser to regain its old pages and start working normally. Generally,i choose Kill Pages and restart the browser. Though there are chances you might lose old webpages you had kept opened.

Cheers!!!

Blackberry Storm the keypad has become very slow to respond.

You don't have a virus. Just make sure that you get the over the air updates whenever available. The latter versions of the phone are much more efficient than the earlier ones. Try closing applications when not in use to speed operation. Press the blackberry button choose switch applications and then close the ones you are not using. You can also delete the default third party software that comes on your phone if you don't need it. For instance, if you never use Verizon navigator, take out a few messengers i.e. aim, yahoo, remove flicker (you can always get this applications back later so no worries).
