Question about Singer 3116 Simple
I have a brand new Singer 7444 that won't wind the bobbins properly. After winding for a little while, the thread starts wrapping around the shaft under the bobbin. I then stop the process by releasing the pedal only to find that the thread that's on the bobbin is really messy. There are some loops of loose thread for example. Please help!!!!
It sounds like you don't have any tension on the thread when winding the bobbin. Make sure that you are running the thread through the tension disc on the top of the machine before going to the bobbin winder.
