Question about Singer 7442 Mechanical Sewing Machine
I was sewing sheer curtains and when I was almost done with the project, the sewing machine got all of a sudden slower until it eventually got tuck. When trying to move the wheel, it only does half of the rotation and then gets stuck again.
I opened the plate, removed the bobbin case and cleaned there. I cannot see anything that looks wrong at all. No traces of thread anywhere.
Do you think there is thread stuck somewhere?
Any help or suggestions you can provide would be much appreciated!
You may have some lint not seen and use some canned air and try that you may need a new needle it could be bent. or even broken and a piece is still in the little tight crease in the bobbin holder.try all that first and then check your tension did it get moved by the fabric? when you wrer making the curtains?
