Question about Netopia Cayman 3347W-Ent Wireless Router
II HAVE A NEW LAP TOP WITH A WIRELESS CARD IN IT,IT HAS A GOOD SIGNAL BUT IT IS ASKING FOR A WEP KEY.WHERE DO YOU FIND IT?THE ROUTER IS A NETOPIA 3345-02-1006.
With each new router comes a new WEP KEY by default this could be found normally on the back of the router/access point near the bar code it should have something like this:
SSID: XXXXXXXX WEP KEY: XXXXXXX
If you don't find this sticker or don't have it just reset the router or connect by cable go to the web interface and copy or change the WEP Key there defined.
Hope that helps.
If you need and advice about a new wi-fi router....linksys all the way...;)

Click the Site Survey tab and select the name of your wireless network or SSID, then click Connect. In this example, we used a wireless USB adapter.
NOTE: images may differ depending on the model number of the adapter.
If the software is asking for a WEP key, enter the WEP key on the WEP Key 1 field.
If the software is asking for a WPA-Personal key, enter the WPA key on the Passphrase field
