The guide button on our remote is not working

For guide to work, make sure your tv is set on HDMI-1.

1) hit TV button,
2) then hit Input button until you see HDMI-1 (for tv)(or HDMI-2 for streaming like Fire or Hulu, etc),
3) then after you get HDMI-1 (tv), hit the CABLE button to operate tv guide on most tvs.

I changed the batts stopped working, done quick scan, tried codes, i can get it to turn the tv on and off, , but i need to be able to use the menu and av so i can change tv onto hdmi

First off, you can change into HDMI without the remote, there is an input button on every tv near the power button. Secondly if the remote came with the tv you shouldn't need to program it. If it did not come with the tv then you do have to program it, and codes should be easily found online at the remote brands website. Lastly, if you can turn the tv on and off with the remote, you should be able to use the other keys as well, maybe you need to hit the tv button on the remote or something, it doesn't make sense that the power button would work but not the others...

TV screen went black, sound is intact, can I fix it?

This sounds like you accidentally hit the input button on your remote. It will either be INPUT or SOURCE on you remote. Turn on your TV and source(cable box) and hit one of those buttons until your picture comes back

Hdmi issues

What are you trying to do? Connect to a tv? If so make sure you take the remote to the tv and press Select Input, then select HDMI as the input source (or it might be PC, but most likely HDMI). Then reboot the laptop and the display should be on the tv.

The video will show on most systems when you reboot without you having to do anything. Some systems will require you to hit the FN (Function key) + F1 thru F12. Hold down the FN key then hit the correct key for displaying on the monitor (F1 thru F12). The correct key will normally have CRT/LCD on it or it will have the icon of a display.

HDMI Output driver for MSI-7267 ver:4.2?

Is this a laptop or desktop? More than likely it's an output port. Output to what? A tv?

Normally you would just connect the cable between the computer and the tv. Then take the tv's remote and press Select Input. Then select HDMI as the input source. Reboot the laptop or computer and it should show on the TV.

Computer do not reconize the tv using the hdmi

Did you take the remote from the tv and press Select Input so you can tell the tv where the video or what ever is coming from? Press Select Input then more than likely you will press HDMI and if you have more than one HDMI Port you have to tell it HDMI 1 or HDMI 2. Depending on your cables and ports sometimes you would just tell it PC or Computer, but if you see HDMI, select it as your Input source.

Connect g60 to sharp 42" hdtv via hdmi

They both will need to have hdmi ports so that you can run a hdmi to hdmi cable between them. If not, you will need some type of adapter that connects between them.

Once you have them connected turn the tv on and press Select Input from the Remote and Select HDMI as the input (If you have vga connections there might be a PC or Computer connection for it).

Reboot the laptop and the video should be on the tv.
