Question about Coleman Powermate Premium Plus 6250W Portable Generator
The motor runs fine and was recently serviced. The generator was run about six weeks ago and produced electricity. Now with the generator motor running and warmed up when I turn the A/C switch to "ON" the motor goes under load and shuts down completely. This is without anything plugged into the unit.
Sounds like a problem with the wiring of the outlets after the circuit breaksr. Take apart the outlet box and have a look for burned or broken wires, melted outlets, and/or small critters stuck in the wiring.
I recently had to repair a generator that had its voltage regulator taken out by a frog!
