you need to reseat the lcd connector. A Loose connecttion is the most common reason for a blank white screen.

I have a Blackjack 2 (18 months) and the phone goes periodically to a white screen, someone had told me that this is related to the battery, any suggestions

not certain that it is related to the battery but it will drain it. if you still have warrenty of the phone ask them to replace it. if not one thing to try is to remove the battery for about 2 or 3 minutes and put it back in. that basically soft resets the phone. also it would be a good idea to check if you have the latest firmware on the phone.

I washed my blackjack and the fone works but the screen stays white. anything i can do?

there probably not because it probably got shorted out and the plain white screen is usually just the light lighting up not the screen so you will have to get a new phone sorry hope this was helpful:)

My blackjack screen is badly scratched. (I think it's just the clear plastic outer cover.) Is it possible to replace this part? Is it a do it yourself job?

What you need is a replacement "lens". You can find them on amazon and ebay for anywhere between $6 and $20. Some places will also send the replacement instructions, and some won't. You can replace it yourself if you have the right torx screw drivers.

If you can't find replacement instructions, you can buy a copy of the service manual from here for a bout $7.00

I dropped my blackjack II on the concrete the other day, at first when the screen was supposed to black out it would go to a white screen, then when it stopped doing that the screen would flicker off and...

Fixing it will most likely cost close to getting a new one. Getting a new phone is certainly the easiest answer.

The problem with screen damage, is that most of the screens use lcds (liquid crystal displays) if damaged its hard to repair something that is mostly liquid.

Sorry about your phone. I hope its insured.
