Question about Sony BRAVIA KDL-40V2500 40 in. LCD HDTV
My Sony Bravia tv does noy play sound as it is turned off because it detects that headphones are plugged in but there is nothing plugged into this socket.
I tried plugging and unplugging headphones in but to no avail.
The sound does work through the headphones.
Is there some way of fixing this through the setup options menu. I have tried but the cure must be obscure or non-existent.

go to your remote contol ( menu )
then you go to the option set up.
then you go to headphones and you can set the volume louder.
You will see that it works fine.
