Question about Canon GL2 Mini DV Digital Camcorder
GL2 suddenly has been casting a blue tint on the image or flashes blocks of yellow. I will be filming something and then the whole scene going blue. Nice special effect perhaps, but looks very odd when doing interviews. Also will flash chucks of yellow behind the subject or as boxes of yellow. Very sporadic, yellow lasting a split second or the blue may last several minutes.
Your GL2 has a case of clogged heads. If the clogging is minor, you can clean by using head cleaning tape. 1.Open the tape door and blow out any dusts present. 2. run tape cleaner for about 10 seconds but NO MORE. Hope it works. -James.
