First check the electric chord, for a burn or short, if that is not the problem, the connection into the handle may be burnt from rubing, after looking at a diagram, I would have to see the product as without a picture or hands on approach, it is a good guess that you will get at most. If you are handy, try to take the handle apart, and look at where the chord enters that connector that goes into the handle. I would bet that is the most likelly place for a problem like a short circuit occured. If you have access to a new line chord that would be the best way to find out. Make sure it is unplugged before you start. If it's the motor itself, you are better off with a new unit, as replacing parts usually costs more than a new unit. First you should see if it is covored by a warantee either by the manufacturer or the store from where you purchased it, best wishes

Does it sound like the motor is running? just the head is not moving? if the motor is not running, I would say you have a bad switch, broken wire, or possibly a bad motor. The other possibility is that the motor is ok, just the gear that drives the head portion is bad. Either way, they look like they are not super expensive, might be just as easy to get another, but it doesn't hurt to try and look/repair yourself, it's just how far do you want to go.
Hope this helps, and thank you.

You need to disassemble the unit to fix the problem.

You are facing this problem due to a smaller spring has been unlodged from its position inside the pda .

You need to open the pda with tools like small slot head screw driver ,nose pliers etc .

Hope this helps .

If the phone does not vibrate, and vibrate option is on, that means that the ******** device is broken.
To fix it there is need to disassemble and to test the contacts to ********, and eventually replace ********.
The job must be done at a repair shop, as it is quite complicate.

If the unit is less than one year old, then I suggest to call Hitachi Phone number listed on the instruction.

Hitachi will send you a replacement unit.

It seems to have power going thru it..but no vibration...help

The small sping has come out of the shaft from the motor. If you open the unit you will see that the motor has a little impeller and a shaft with a slot in it. The little spring inside of the massager head is suppose to ride inside of that motor shaft with the little tab on the spring lining up in the slot. It's really flimsy and after I fixed mine it fell out again after 5 minutes of use. It needed a stiffer spring or a different way of engaging the motor shaft. I'm still working on this...

Can the Magic Wand Rechargeable Massager be charged from a 220 volt power?

If your wand is N American then "don't do it" 220 through a 110/120 will fry all the magic out of it. You could get a step down transformer 220 to 110. Plug that into the 220 socket and plug your magic wand charger into that.

The cost would not be worth it though ... buy some more magic that is 220. be happy ... not sorry :-)

Sounds like its working, but nothing happens

I had the same problem with mine, it's due to the fact that the smaller spring has become un-lodged from the ******** itself.

You will need:
1. Roll of electrical tape.
2. Utility Knife
3. A small slot head screw driver OR a pair of needle nose pliers.

The solution is to unscrew the silver ring so that is can be moved up and down. Now, you need to use a utility knife and cut the blue rubber off of the spring. Once you have the blue rubber but off you can see a large spring with another smaller spring inside. Push the head of the ******** till the larger spring's coils are an 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch apart. Next take either the small slot head screw driver or a pair of needle nose and jam the smaller spring back into the hole in the center of the white plastic piece inside of the larger ring. Next plug it in to make sure the vibration is working, reattach the silver piece and tape the larger spring with electric tape.

Screw drop

Only way to find the screw will be by opening dishwasher panels and looking for it. But since there are not any electrical parts in the machine's side, you can leave the screw there and not to be worry about. Good luck!
