Msg on 4 year old Razor says "Insert SIM", but the SIM Card is in the phone. What do I do?

Hi friend,

I think you may check if the problem is from the card slots, may be the sim card doesn't insert deeply or the card slot is loosening, you can try to insert it deeper and tighten the slot.

Or you can try to...you can get more information on the website: www.1010store.com.

Good luck!

My razor is instantly turning off and sayin insert sim card but the sim card is correctly in

Check whether there is any fluff, dust or grease on the SIM card contacts or on the contacts in the phone body. Also check that the SIM card is properly aligned and a reasonably tight fit in its housing

Getting rid of phone #'s and text on motorola razor v3

All of your texts and numbers should all be on the SIM card itself and not the phone.

So you can give the phone itself to a friend but keep the sim.
Hope this helped.

Hello, are you putting another t-mobile sim card into the device? If not, and you are trying to put another carriers sim card, the phone needs to be unlocked. If it is a t-mob sim, you either put a user lock on the razr, which means u gotta flash it to fix it, or you have a sim lock, which you would have to call tmobile to change you sim pin

Water in phone

Alright so if you got a new sim it's more than probable that the connection is the problem. Remove your sim and take an eraser and clean it gently. Make sure you have the sim connector properly connected to the sim card, so leave the back off and turn it on I had to slide my sim card around a few times for it to work so try that till the message disapears. hope that helps.
