Epson Stylus C67 keeps printing blank pages

Hi. I got a second-hand Epson Stylus C67 from my friend. But it keeps 'printing' multiple blank pages when I only tried to print one page. Please help to solve this problem.

Thank you for your response. I will try to clarify the problem.

Yes, latter is closer to my situation, I guess. Whenever I try to print one page of the Word document, the printer just keeps feeding pages and does not stop until I turn off the computer (deleting the print job doesn't stop this). But it does print 'head alignment' or 'nozzle check patterns' normally. But when I try to print 'Test Page' it does the same thing. I am using 'Plug and Play' facility of Window XP. Hope this explanation is clear enough.

Could you please clarify what is your operating system? We still not sure if your using windows or maybe a Mac.

Can you clarify what you mean by "multiple pages" since the solution is quite different for the two possibilities. Does it print a blank page, but at the same time pull multiple pages through? Or, does it print multiple blank pages, one at a time? If the latter, does it always print the same number of blank pages or is the nuber printed random?

If you respond with the answers to these questions we can take positive steps to get your printer working again.

The symptoms infer that the problem is with the computer (printing from an application) rather than the printer (prints OK when the computer is not involved). The best way out of this is to uninstall the printer (start-control panel-uninstall software-epson software). But before you do this double-click the printer icon in the printer list (start-control panel-printers & faxes) and cancel all print jobs in the list (if there are any). Then uninstall the printer Then reboot the computer. Make sure your printer is connected to the computer BUT TURNED OFF. Then insert your printer installation CD and re-install the printer. Turn on the printer when prompted. All should then be well.

I was on Windows XP and now I am on Vista. My printer, Epson Stylus Color 880 sends through a clear page before it starts printing any document. I would like to know how to fix the problem

That blank page is a separator page used when printing multiple documents. This function can be turned on and off in the printer settings. Go to Start>printers>right click on your printer and choose properties>click Printing Preferences at the bottom right hand side......snoop around in those tabs most likely an advanced or features tab you will find the setting for this.
