Lg motion got wet wont turn on now

Remove the batteries and place the controller in a bag of dry rice for about 48 hours. Then look inside where possible to see if it looks all dried out. If so, replace batteries and try it then.

you got it went it wont work ever again to much water damage if you would of soaked it in rice after you dropped or whatever happened it would be fine

This is a problem with many touch screens. Please contact your Carrier(AT&T, Verizon, etc) and they will charge you 50$ or nothing for a replacement

did you get it wet? if so try leaving it near a heat source for a week. like an oven, dashboard of car.... I have dropped my phone in the toilet and brought it back from the dead.

You need to replace the ribbon in the phone it gets pinched with the sliding motion. I had mine repaired twice already and now it is broken again. The tech says that the only prevention is not sliding the phone. Difficult when you want to use the keyboard.

Just put it in a bag of rice for couple of weeks. The rice pulls all the water or wetness out of the phone. How do I know, Well I found a brand New Lg Dare phone in a puddle, put it in rice for 2 1/2 months. I took it out of the bag, put it together, turn it on. To my amazement it worked. Ran to store, bought a charger, and it has worked every day since.

ive had a similar problem... but what i did is i looked at what the insurance does cover... since it doesnt cover water damage.. defect the phone in some way that the insurance will cover. its only if you're in desperate need. there is no way to fix water damage... but i know PLENTY of tricks to soak water out of the phone

Alright so I had the same problem. My solution that works most of the time is this: while bluetooth is off, in the phone, go to menu, bluetooth, settings, and play around with the device name (instead of LG TU 720 make it LG TU or fucklg for instance) pretty much anything should do.. change the memory storage maybe between memory card and handset.. try turning the phone off and taking out the battery too, maybe even the sim card if you're really desperate, or all of the things i just mentioned in order. Replace everything, reboot, turn on bluetooth and try pairing.. This works with my plantronics headset now (there was a good few months where i gave up on it). It's a pain in the *** but it gets the job done for me... try it out.

H2o, on the phone. It may still be saved. the only thing is that you may not have the tools to open the phone. the tools needed are a T-5 and T-6 for most V3. my best idea is to try to softly scrape the Sim Card reader Prongs/contacts. but please if you have never open a v3 don't try it. just take to your local service provider or to one of those guys with a accessories stand selling the face plate replacement @ the mall. they may not charge you anything .and cross your fingers so the micro resistors inside the phone did not fried, this happens if the phone was ON when it got water in it.
