Question about RIM BlackBerry Pearl 8120 Cellular Phone
I have a new Blackberry Pearl 8120. I started adding contacts to my address book but I am unable to view them just says no addresses. If i click into options it says that I have 63 under number of entries so they are there somewhere. If someone calls me their contact details come up?? i have looked through all sorts of options and can't find anything? I have checked the sim and they aren't showing on that either. Has anyone else had a problem with this? The shop i bought it from hasn't a clue...
You have a filter on. When you see the screen that says "no addresses" you need to go to the top where it says "FIND:" then click the "Blackberry" key to the left of your trackball. Scroll up to "Filter" and click. One of your "categories" is checked. Click on whatever one is highlighted to uncheck. All of your addresses should pop up.

This is not a software problem.
The camera got knock off contact inside the Blackberry from shipping and daily use.
There is a EZ fix and you can give it a try.
1)Power off the BlackBerry
2)take the back cover off //take the battery out
3)clean the camera with a DRY clean cloth
4)apply gentle pressure around the camera
you may or may not hear a popping sound
this is the sound the camera making contact with the socket.
REMEMBER USE LIGHT PRESSURE
5)place battery and cover back on
6)power on the Blackberry
7)try the camera function
IF YOU ARE GETTING off color or ghost like pic then you are half way there!
